Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center

We are holding the conference at a beautiful resort, in their off season, so they are giving us some beautiful discounts on some beautiful rooms. Each room, no matter the size, has some form of kitchenette or kitchen, so you can bring and prepare your own food with ease. Being on site will also give you easy access to the conference and nighttime events any time, with little travel involved. The conference center has a heated pool and hot tubs that are chlorine free, an exercise area, business center, and, most importantly, is backed by a beautiful subalpine forest and ski runs which are perfect for hiking, botanizing, yoga, and other forms of mind-body exercise. You can find a full list of their amenities here.

We know herbalists aren't rich, so here are some ideas on how to reduce cost on your room choices:

  • Use our group discount by calling them to book. Tell them you are booking with Mountain West Herb Conference and they should honor the following discounted prices:

Hotel room: $135/night

Studio: $145/night

Breckenridge studio: $153/night

Colorado suite: $153/night

Summit suite: $165/night

One bedroom suite: $165/night

One bedroom suite, building 4: $180/night

Two bedroom suite: $220/night

  • Share your room with friends! Each room has at least two beds, and as you go up in suite size, the sleeping accomidations increase too! Most suites have a pull out couch, so, in theory, a regular studio suite should sleep 2-5 adults, depending on how much you mind sharing a bed with others.

  • Each room has some way to prepare food. The hotel rooms have a mini-fridge and microwaive, and the suites have either a full kitchen or at least a partial kitchen with a stove. Every room has a refridgerator. Prepare your breakfasts in the room instead of eating out. It will save you money and time. There are plenty of grocery stores in breckenridge to purchase quick and easy food in, and Colorado is very used to working with many different dietairy restrictions.

Camping Options

Colorado is the perfect place to come out and spend the nights in the woods. In June, in the mountains, it can get below freezing, othertimes it can get warm. The average temperature range for mid June is 34 - 67 degrees F.

Also, us Coloradans love camping, so reserve your spot sooner rather than later to ensure a space.

“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.”
